Houtmankade 16hs

HOME AND STUDIO FOR SUKHA AMSTERDAM

On the ground floor of this 30s houseblock the former warehouse space was converted into home and workspace for ‘Atelier Sukha’. Starting point was a bio-ecological building method, with natural raw materials (such as clay on the walls), recycling of old components and insulating the facades and roof. Thanks to the open layout and large skylights this has become a beautiful and light work/living space.
