RE-BORN AT THE HERENGRACHT

Once this was one house with a ‘front’, ‘middle’ and an ‘back’. After many centuries, it is now reborn into a family home where all the elements really come into their own. To facilitate the integration of the different parts the house was insulated and now has a C label, which is unique to a monument. The main goal was to “let be” as much as possible and to give new purposes with for example the kitchen and bathroom that are both overlooking the central part with the skylight. Sustainability and improvement are well combined, with many thanks to the efforts of the contractor.
