TWO CANALHOUSES IN AMSTERDAM

TWO UNDER THEIR OWN ROOF

Since 1588 both properties have known a rich history, from a brandy distillery to a hotel. The last 25 years have been characterized by handymen, squatters and vacancy. In April 2013 we were asked about our restoration experience. Two years later every component has been perfectly restored. The house at the canal offers a panoramic view and is equipped with the latest electronics. The property is very energy-efficient because of a combination of insulation and ecological materials. The other house has the character of a residential tower and provides on every floor a livingspace for the studying children.
