Lijnbaansgracht

LINKING

The Lijnbaansgracht was once the outer canal, where the ropes were laid for the ships, adjacent to the meadows. This project embraced the reconnection of the originally open place between the 19th century house and a 17th century city farmhouse, each with its own house number. The farmhouse has been restored and is linked to the house with a completely replaced connecting passageway: the optimum entry of light and air.
