After 60 years of occupation, this monumental apartment was in need of a thorough renovation. The internal accessibility and the organization of the floorplan were of great importance. The internal staircase has been ingeniously moved “in a cupboard”. The kitchen was tucked away at the sunny back. The spacious kitchen, in open connection with the living room with fireplace, now offers a beautiful view over the Amstel.
