THREE CAPS, ONE FOR EVERY TRIPLET

Installing a roof structure is already “an exception to the exception”, certainly for three contiguous buildings in Amsterdam where the premise is to not cooperate in extending order 2 buildings upwards if the pre-existing deviation option from the zoning plan is not met. After a previous unsuccessful attempt, the three owners approached our office. After extensive preliminary work and in-depth research, we have decided to lend our cooperation. Our intention is to make these three buildings part of the 19th century city boulevard as a triplet, with the aim of improving the urban design image. In this we have succeeded!
